I didn't send my weekly newsletter?

Here's why

Oh oh,

I didn’t send my weekly newsletter….

What now??

HELP!!

Nahh, I don’t panic.

But it got me wondering.

Why was I so hesitant to send my weekly newsletter?

There were a couple of reasons:

Didn’t like the branding

Didn’t like the content

Was insecure if people would like it.

But what kind of email marketer am I? I write other people’s emails, yet I’m too scared to send mine. LOL. Are you crazy?!

(I might be a little, but it keeps things interesting, right? 😉 )

Here's how I fixed it:

  • I changed the name

  • Figured out who I was writing for.

  • Stopped being so f*cking insecure.

Rebranding was a must. I wasn’t happy with the old branding; the whole vibe just felt off. If I didn’t like it, who would?

As for my insecurity? That’s for me to handle.

The best way to overcome it? Just keep sending these emails. I don’t know if people are going to like them.

I won’t know if people like them unless I actually send them, right?

Time to get over it!

And consistency? Well, I hadn’t built a habit of sending weekly emails (at least for myself).

But habits only form with regular practice. So here I am, sending emails and writing about whatever comes to mind.

Now that I think about it….

Having my own newsletter is actually pretty f*cking cool!

Okay great I got myself excited again 🤩

So from now on:

Weekly emails - On Thursdays. (Although I might change up the day)

Packed with value:

  • Email copywriting

  • Storytelling tips

  • Updates on ME 😄 (work, personal, whatever comes to mind)

And if you’ve got any suggestions, let me know! I’m always open to feedback. Just respond to this email.

So stay tuned! This newsletter is going to be a wild ride.

See ya next time,

Dani
